PhDs in Si/SiGe Research
A number of PhD students are taken on each year to undertaken research in different Si/SiGe topics. These presently include (please see the links for background information):
 
  1.     Si/SiGe quantum cascade lasers
  2.     Si/SiGe impurity lasers
  3.     quantum information processing
  4.     resonant tunnelling diodes and circuits
  5.     silicon photonics

For U.K. and European residents there are a number of quota studentships available provided applications are submitted before the March of each year for admission in the following October.
