Research interests

My reserach interests lie in the study of low-dimensional systems in semiconductors and the quantum phenomena associated with them. My Masters research focused on transport and microwave spectroscopy of nano (and micro) structures such as quantum dots, wires and two dimensional electron gases (2DEGs) fabricated in Si/SiGe heterostructures.

My current research at Cavendish focuses on the study of spin lattices in mesoscopic structures in GaAs/AlGaAs 2DEGs. Our goal is to fabricate well ordered spin lattices in the 2DEG and study the nature of their ordering. We use low-temperature (<100mK), low-noise measurement techniques to explore these phenomena.
